What the hell is with the team "not showing up". They played well for 2 periods, but couldn't score cuz their goaltender made some big saves and then had to play "preserve the lead" when the game was 4-1 because we have a tough game tomorrow.

Luongo costed us this game. It is that simple.

The third goal Luongo allowed broke the teams back. Brutal goal. That's the second game now where he's let the other team get in the game, or pull away with a weak goal. He's been playing really good, but these goals are killing us.

Im excited to have Horvat and looking forward to him playing on the team.

But....one does wonder how VN would have played on a line with the twins.

Torts is riding Luongo until his wheels come off. And tonight, they did.

No reason why Lack shouldn't be playing more, or that an ageing Luongo should be leading the league in starts.

I hate to be that guy, but cost is the proper word.

They're weak goals, however you want to shake it.

Thoughts:

--Get Hansen the hell off the Sedin line. Jesus...
--Luongo back to sieve mode. Goody gumdrops.
--Sloppy game, continuation of the bad judgement up and down the lineup last game. Passes to nowhere, banging the puck up the boards when nobody but green sweaters are anywhere near that side, etc etc etc.
--Had some domination in the Dallas end but as the team's now putting in performances right out of their losing streak, nothing went in.
--Kassian had a terrible night. Just nothing going on with the guy.
--Alberts and Weber were not obviously terrible but I'd still really like to see Corrado in there.
--Is there a record for the number of times the phrase "off the heel of his stick" has been used in a broadcast? This game probably set the record.

Ugh.

A couple of real concerns for #Canucks D. Sedin: 0 even-strength goals in past 10 & only goals vs West this year against EDM
