Removing the best defensive forward off the line that's struggling defensively is such a small brain move that it wraps all the way back around to big brained!

Yes. Kurashev has made great leaps since his rookie season when there was so much pessimism about his game and when so many thought Reichel was the 2nd coming.
Richardson deciding to sit him for a game after discussing with him the reason why is nothing unusual for a young player who has proven he can be better. Richardson is expecting Kurashev to return and be better for it. Time will tell if he is right.

IMO, I think that is related to KD trading for these guys. I didn't like either move but does Luke feel obligated to play them? I think so.

Actually, even the way he benched him was backwards when he didn’t even have a conversation until after the fact per the tweets.


He’s just a sloppy and stupid coach. There really isn’t any defending of anything he does at this point.
