Everything not named Connor Garland, Kiefer Sherwood, Quinn Hughes must go! Elias Pettersson is available for the right price.

I'll kick things off with a couple proposals:

To Edmonton:
Kevin Lankinen

To Vancouver:
2025 3rd round pick (STL)

Edmonton gets some insurance in net on a cheap 1 year contract

To Los Angeles:
Derek Forbort

To Vancouver:
2025 4th round pick

Kings get a #6 dman as depth for a playoff run

To Minnesota:
Brock Boeser (50% retained by VAN + 25% by Anaheim)

To Vancouver:
Marcus Johansson
2025 2nd round pick (MIN)
2026 1st round pick (MIN)

To Anaheim:
2026 4th round pick (VAN)

Minnesota finally gets Boeser right when the buyouts of Parise and Suter come down significantly so they can also re-sign him.

To Utah:
JT Miller
Pius Suter

To Vancouver:
Nick Bjustad
Kevin Stenlund
Michael Kesselring
Maverick Lamoureux

Utah gets their top end C to fill their top 6.

To Chicago:
Vincent Desharnais
2025 4th round pick (Kings)

To Vancouver:
Andreas Athanasiou

Chicago gets paid a pick to take 2M in cap for next season at no extra salary

In the off-season:

To Seattle:
Danton Heinen
2025 2nd (MIN)
2026 2nd (VAN)

To Vancouver:
Oliver Bjorkstrand

Bjorkstrand Pettersson Hoglander
Debrusk _________ ___________
Joshua Blueger Garland
Johansson Stenlund Sherwood

Hughes Hronek
_________ Kesselring
Soucy Myers

Demko
Silovs

These deals aren't even bad value wise but you're gonna piss off many posters on this website so be ready.

I don't understand why a rental Boeser with 27 points in 37 games this year is bringing back a 1st and 2nd while Bjorkstrand with another year left and 29 points in 45 games this year is only bringing back 2 2nds.

The Miller deal looks kinda crappy for the Canucks while it also seems like a deal that Utah wouldn't be all that crazy about. I don't really know that a 31 year old center is what they'd be looking to spend assets on, even if the assets they're giving up are fairly tame.

The other ones are negligible trades, not even worth commenting on.

I’d say the Miller deal is fsirly bad
For who? Kesselring has established himself this year as a very good top 4 young two way defenseman and Lamoureux has shown good signs at the pro level as a defenseman with great physical tools and potential to fill out (the fact he has shown offensive abilities as a pro this yr is very exciting considering he was viewed as a pure DFD back at the draft. Bjugstad and Stenlund aren't worth much. Wouldn't be as big of a name trade as you'd expect for a Miller deal but Utah trading two of their top young D is far from nothing.

You would understand if you read the part where boeser has 75% retained while bjorkstrand is an off-season deal so he would also have a year left on his deal.

The 75% ret, along with the fact that brock has always been a better scorer (even this season which is something the wild need) is what changes the value of 2 x 2nd to 1st + 2nd

I don't think 20 games of Boeser at 75% retention is worth more than a full season of Bjorkstrand at full money.

Boeser is the better scorer but Bjorkstrand is the significantly better play driver.

it’s almost a half season difference as of today. Minnesota has played 45/82 games. What are you talking about 20 games vs full season. Minnesota is 2nd in their division and 4th in the conference, teams pay to go in and reward their teams performance

Bjorkstrand is being traded in the off-season when players, especially wingers aren’t valued as much in trade which wasn’t even factored in

I know Sherwood is having a career year but you’d be crazy not to capitalize on that and trade him.

Canucks honestly could probably get a first rounder for Sherwood, he is signed for next season as well
