ok i'll give it a shot

MTL : Dach + Reinbacher + MTL first 2026 + Roy

VAN : EP + 4th 2025

Dach had a ruff start but he's getting there now, he could take their second line center.
Plus 3 great future pieces.

EP is a great player with skills, he could sure drive the first line on the Habs with Slaf and Laine.

Both of these players have little to no trade value, especially given the Canucks depth on the wing.

They basically gave away a seconder rounder to the Black Hawks to offload a player in Jason Dickinson who had about the same value at the time of that trade.

2 first rounders sounds nice but even with his "problems" EP40 is basically a 70 point guy who is excellent both ways and would be the #1 center in Montreal.

Those first rounders aren't really high enough to roll the dice on EP as other teams would be able to offer much better packages.

So basically Reinbacher (who is a good piece) and what right now is a 13th overall pick and maybe goes up to 20th if EP40 slots into the Habs lineup the rest of the year then?

Any team with Dach as their #2 center is dead in the water, heck right now he is basically the Habs #3 Center.

Alos Roy is anothing burger and wouldn't slot in on the wing in Vancouver.

We know his skillset and thus respectively reject your offer maybe if the Canucks go on a rebuild, which they won't do they do something like this.

Reinbacher, highest of firsts this year and Hage for EP40 and Hoglander.

That being said I'm not even sure if the Canucks do that and there is the whole salary cap problem as well.

Pettersson has some of the best 2 way numbers on Vancouver. If you trade him they probably get shelled even worse unless they're getting a clear top pairing D back

Newhook is not a busting prospect. He is a middle 6F who is a winger but can play center (as insurance if someone gets hurt). Don't confuse yourself with a middle 6F asset that is not the 2C you want and then go on an insult the player. It's a stupid HF board game to play.

I don't think you are comprehending this well and I'll give you your own advice with "listening". Let me put it in bold and capital letters for you. IF THE CANUCKS DON'T LIKE THE 1/1 OR 2/1 OFFERS AND START TO CONSIDER A FUTURES PACKAGE, THE HABS CAN ENAGE. IF YOU LIKE THE BYRAM/COZENS OFFER OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, HABS CAN'T OFFER IT AND WE ARE OUT OF THE TRADE NEGIOATIONS.

I have seen other offers that are meh and worse than mine and no attacks towards that fan base or poster. Seems like some of you are obsessed with the Habs offers. Other offers slide by with no insults but when the Habs offer something you don't like, you go hostile. :nod:
