Yeah the announcers seemed fine, I don't know what people are on about.

Great game today, I said before the season started I was getting 2008-2009 vibes from the team, and game 1 was very reminiscent of game 1 that season against the Flames. The underlying structure and little things the players are doing are looking way better than they have since Vigneault was here, which is fantastic to see.

Say what you will about Boesser's contract and play over the last few seasons - seeing him score 4 on opening night put a huge smile on my face. After everything the guy has been through, having this kind of start to the season hopefully does wonders for his confidence.
