Not without some retention on Zadorov's contract.

LHD isn't a screaming weakness at the moment, the right side would be,, and something needs to be done with our top six forwards, so backpeddling and taking on Zadorov's cap hit isn't a priority for our limited cap space.

I just really don't see the Canucks wanting Zadorov at full contract value. If they did, i'd assume they would've just signed him to that deal in the first place.

Zadorov has been really good for the Bruins.

He's been our #2D since Lindholm went down, he averages 20 minutes a night, he's one of only two defenseman who are plus players, leads the D in hits, 54.09 xG%, and he doesn't mince words when they don't play hard.

He took a lot of penalties early, and that was a problem, but he's got 6 minors in his last 16 games so he's seems to have found a better balance.

I don't think there's any way they deal him.

Agreed as someone who really wasn’t a fan of the signing when it happened.

You're joking right? The walking traffic cone of a penalty? I've hated Z on this team. I'd happily offload his contract for serviceable players.
Neat. Nobody cares.

Well said.

Zadorov has played great so far, well worth the contract.

Unfortunately, there are always fans who make their opinion set on a player after watching him play their first game or 2 with the new team. Then they hold on to that opinion for dear life for the length of the contract **doubling down as often as needed.

Appears there are some differences of opinion on Big Z from the Bruin faithful. Clearly the op’s trade only works if the Bs want to dump Z, not if he’s doing well.
