Ok, I am going to spare you my valuations, and look for the Best offers from each team...........you may pick to choose just one or make an offer on any or all 3 players separately................

#1. Brock Boeser................this is a sign and trade............he will be signed for $6,350,000 X 7 years

#2. Connor Garland

#3. JT Miller

We are looking for RHD and picks.

Come on guys, there are 31 other teams who need these players, what are you best offers? Best offers, please!

It wouldnt be a sign an trade,

If anything it will be that the Canucks will permit the trading team to negotiate a new contract with Boeser before the trade is finalized with the Canucks.
Same applies to Miller. Nobody is trading for a player of that calibre without an extension worked out.

why not?

Perhaps an All-in team wants Miller as a rental but cant really afford him long term

You dont think someone like Tbay, Pitt, Wash, Col, Edm etc would want Miller even for 1 year at possibly 2.5 mil AAV if Canucks retain?

I doubt teams looking for a rental, come up with the most attractive offers for Van. Miller will also command a large return, and I'm skeptical that teams are really looking to spend that amount to go all in for only 1 season.

I don't think van wants to retain, and I doubt that is the type of deal Van management is looking for. Magic beans alone won't cut it, imo

You could literally say that about any player that isnt a franchise player
I think he was really just referring to the redundancy of these particular names coming up so often on these boards, as well as the desperation that certain posters keep signaling in their proposals regarding said names. It wasn't meant to be interpreted so literally.

Sign and trades do not happen.
it would really be a trade and sign. What the OP is saying is that there would be talks beforehand with Boeser's representation, and a deal more or less agreed on before the deal is made.

Not 31. MN can't afford them, and i would bet there are a lot of other teams that can't, either.

i think Boesser is overpaid fir that much given what others make and have similar production.

Garland…he’s under contract. It depends if team needs a middle 6 winger the next 4 yrs till prospects develop.

Miller …he’s a pure rental because teams aren’t giving him a long term contract hitting 30.

What is the point of this thread? There's a million trade proposal threads already.
Vancouver fans really desperate to get something for Boeser. He’s the one they’d most gladly trade.

JT Miller is definitely valuable as a rental at 50%. I could see him get two firsts in that scenario. From a playoff team but a nice haul.

Garland is hard to peg value. My guess. He could fetch a late 1st in the 2022 draft.

I think Vancouver fans will be as disappointed at the end of summer as they were at the deadline with how little their GM was able to remake their team. I doubt they are able to overhaul their roster this summer. They’ll make fewer trades than thr fan base would like.

The team doesn’t need an overhaul, it just needs some minor tweaking. They have all the right key players where they need them

To be a 7th-8th seed?

Sure. I agree. Vancouver should be in contention with teams like the Kings, Peg, Nashville, Oilers and Dallas to make a wild card birth or 3rd seed in their division. they were underachievers as a 10th seed. Vancouver doesn’t have the horses to compete with the Flames, Blues, Avs, healthy Vegas and Wild. They are definitely a talent tier below the real contenders. Their defense isn’t strong enough. And forward depth isn’t great.

not sure which guy they can trade to make their roster better? Garland I suppose. For a middle pair guy? Trading Miller definitely makes it worse.

If it wasn’t for such an abysmal start with Benning and Green the Canucks would be right there with Edmonton in the standing. We need to tweak the depth, move out an offensive defenceman (Myers) for someone like hmmmmm Tanev and we are in fine shape
