Yeah, I really don’t think one poor season tanks your value that much. He is still young and on average his numbers are quite nice. He was our leading scorer the year before for example. Someone will bite with a haul. Unfortunately, it looks like we bit and are keeping him.

Boeser still has big value but for this team it is the cap, they just can't afford to spend that much money, not when that much might get Kuzmenko (a possible replacement) and almost 4 million in cap space. Rh Nux have to sign more players too.

The insight about "size matters" in the playoffs has most always been true, the bigger teams usually win the cup. I think only Detroit won it once being the smaller team in the last 3 decades.

I agree with this. I’m also in the camp that’s baffled people want to see Garland traded. Guy is still young with a good contract that’s great in 5 v 5 play. It’s Boeser who needs to be traded. Getting Kuz and losing Garland would be pointless.

He is the next Fabian Brunnstrom as far as my expectations go; been burnt too many times as a fan of this team.

I was spouting arguments about how average Benning was 8 months ago now. In the Management thread. Benning has not been a part of the organization for 6 or 7 months now, so what's the purpose of making comments about how dumb he is or how much oil he puts in his hair? It's purely for the purpose of hating on someone. That's what's embarrassing. It's a really sad statement on the people who do it.

The really aggravating part for me is that even though I avoid the Management thread and the Benning's worst moves thread, your hate speech infiltrates other threads.

That's the crux of the problem. No rational fan could possibly justify calling Benning "average" in the death throes of his regime.

This is why you're being called out on this issue.

Back to the topic. I'm wary of all the hype/hope over Kuzmenko. Love the idea of getting a free asset at <$1M. Don't love the idea that failing to sign Kuzmenko is some sort of indictment of JRPA. Still think the bigger issue to consider is the contract after the ELC.
