Tanevs having a shaky game by his standards, but think he'll be fine on the PP over the next few weeks. He can keep the puck in, and get it to the twins. Vs Edler who will just rip into some shins n bobble it outta the zone. Whole unit looks like trash tonite.

Need Edler back for the tank.

No Edler and the canucks start winning. Hutton shows he can handle more minutes.

It's not that he's having a shaky game by his standards, it's that he isn't anywhere close to an all-situations NHL #1 D which we, sadly, are rolling with right now.

I think Hutton may just be my next jersey. It was either him or Horvat, but I will always have a spot for a potential stud defenseman. The Canucks have never had one.

Pretty good open ice hit Eat'em.

Speaking of which, I don't think I've seen as little hitting from any Canucks team as I have from this one. (Started watching the Canucks in 1997). It seems really noteworthy when you see contact initiated by Vancouver.

I wonder what the percentage is. I bet they've thrown less hits in the last calendar year than any other Canucks team in the same timeframe.

This might be true. There seems to be less hits overall now days, but this could definitely be true.
