Im as big a Canucks fan as they come, but I've always had a bit of a man crush on the Preds. Love that team and that franchise, I wish nothing but the best for them unless they're playing the Canucks :D

I wanna see
Sedins/Vrbata
Higgins/Bonino/Kassian
Matthias/Richardson/Vey
Dorsett/Horvat/Hansen
That's 4 lines you can roll

Fired up for Bo, should be a good test tonight the Predators are a great team

Nashville is a good team this year, they finally have a bit of the offensive flair they've needed for years to be a truly good team. Like us, though, they still have a ways to go before they're in any kind of discussion.

Hoping Horvat plays and is able to shut down whatever line he's faced with. I won't be discouraged if he doesn't put up points in any of his nine games. Let him establish his great defensive game in the NHL before expecting him to put up numbers.

Go Canucks Go

Given how they played the first two periods last night they should be well rested.

I like that lineup but maybe swap Vey and Kassian. That third line has been looking good lately what with their size and speed and the California road trip right around the corner.

Miller is leading the league in wins.

It's been awhile since we've had that. 2011 or 2012?

Also Nashville is my second team so I always love these match ups. (S) Weber is such a treat to watch.

I know this isn't really the right thread, but any word on Ference? If he doesn't have a hearing, this league ...

I guess it doesn't matter because it was big bad zack kassian and ference was just trying to protect himself. :sarcasm:

I agree it should be a good test and with a really tough schedule in November, the Canucks need to keep in front of the pack, many teams getting the loser point in OT behind them.

After November we will have a much better idea on how the season will go and also if Lack can get it back.

Should be a very interesting game to evaluate both teams and also see how Seth Jones is doing and how the Sedins match up against a really dominant defensive pairing.

i'm also looking forward to Horvat but unless there is an injury he needs to impress or he is going to find it hard to stay in the lineup in Vancouver.

I'm actually a bit surprised as I thought he would have shown better by now

heck
If Stanton is ready to go, does our Weber even dress? Hmm.

Horvat has been officially recalled, but he didn't dress in Utica last night. Wonder if he's already in Vancouver.

Nothing will stop the Swiss Bliss. +5 in 8 games while playing with Sbisa. Best +/- on the team. Bieksa is a -8.

+/- is the only stat that matters.

:sarcasm:

Padding his +/- so we can flip him for a 2015 first at the deadline when we decide to stop all the winning and tank for McEichelFin

Don't like seeing lineups with Vey on the wing, doesn't suit his game well. If Horvat is in, break him in on the wing. Even pair him up on a line with Vey and have either take the faceoff on their strong side. I still leave Kassian on the '3rd line' as they have been playing well together.

D.Sedin - H.Sedin - Vrbata
Higgins - Bonino - Hansen
Matthais - Richardson - Kassian
Horvat/Sestito - Vey - Dorsett
