I recall that Stan Smyl used to ALWAYS produce against the Jets, to the extent that it would sometimes be remarked upon by the announcers. I looked it up and his statistical performance against the Jets was an outlier compared to other teams:

I remember a few guys from back in the day who always rung the bells here. In addition to Gretzky, his teammates Kurri and Messier destroyed us:
