Svech HAS to see less time on the ice. There have to be consequences for stupid penalties like that. I know that he gets called closer than other players, but these are obvious penalties!

He seems like the kind of guy that when he retires, there will be a narrative about how playing with such-and-such veteran Russian winger mentored him and really helped him turn around his career by working on the things that held him back.
The question is whether that happens because of Carolina bringing someone in to be that mentor, or because they send him somewhere else to find it.

Yeah I don’t love a player being allowed to skate directly into the goalie untouched by any defender without incurring a penalty.

guarantee if we did that there would be a brawl and we'll be on the PK. Hell they could have scored there and not called it GI
