I think Roslovic will end up with 25-30g and 50-55pts overall when all is said and done, barring injury. I’ve always thought he’d be a good fit in Raleigh, even back to his WPG days. I think a 3-4yr deal around Bunting/Teravainen $$$ sounds just about right.

While I do think he will certainly slow down, I bet he still ends up with a career season and sticks around. He is a great fit so far with Aho.

Hot take but think we’re better served letting him walk and get paid elsewhere. Necas seems best served as a play driving winger on the second line and Jarvis needs to be with Aho moving forward after this year.
Yeah if he keeps this up, he's going to get PAID next summer, and I don't think we should be anywhere near it. Kinda wish we had inked him to a 2 or 3 year deal, but with the prospects we have, I get it.

His goal scoring at this level isn't going to last. That said,

1) through out his career, his assist to goal ratio is almost 2-1, so while the goal scoring part won't last, neither will his low number of assists.

2) Related to that, Aho's shooting % right now is 7.5% vs. 16%+ the last 5 seasons, so presumably, that will level out as well.

I can see a scenario where when Roslovic's goal scoring starts to slow down, he'll start getting assists as Aho's goal scoring picks up.

So what you’re saying is Rod needs to yell at Roslovic to pass more?

Optimistic Take (this doesn't represent a guarantee but rather one man's "thoughtful" opinion):

After all the recent pragmatic views above (barring injury), let me step out in the ledge and say he is going to score 40 this year. Aho and Sketch's passing and the top line style of play will give him oodles of opportunities & he will cash in because......

Beyond the Aho & Svetch benefit is his skillset.

He is a player with the 2nd best wrist shot on the team (Necas is my #1) with re: to precision, speed and ability to shoot quickly. Out of his 9 goals this year, I'm hard pressed to think of another Cane that would have delivered that many with those opportunity profiles.

Who are the Rizzlers most common line mates at other stops in his career? Who have been his HCs?

If he continues scoring like this at some point teams are going to have to focus on him a bit more which could free up Aho,, Svech some. Goals down, assists up perhaps.
Hard agree.

Has he had this kind of space at another point in his career?

Re-signing depends if Tulsky thinks there are going to be guys like Jack next fa or available in trade- guys who fit the system and can be had for cheap.

Does it make sense to sign a guy to a 4x4 for 50 points, provided he's attached at the hip to Aho/Svechnikov, when you can sign a guy for half that price and term to get 40 points?

Tulsky may have already circled who they're going to target FA 2025. And Jack can get his bag from a terminally terrible drafting team, like the Sabers.

One thing that advantages Roslovic compared to other UFAs for the Canes is that he's still really young for an UFA. He'll only be 28 when a theoretical extension kicks in.
