I know a ton of what happens after the break will depend on what happens with team Finland but I can’t help but keep thinking that was aho’s best game since the rantanen trade and that rantanens best game as a cane was when aho was out sick.

Keeping aho with Blake and Jarvis and putting rantaa and svechnikov with Kotkaniemi or even roslovic would be something to consider

I was gonna say isn't this what we all "feared"/expected if Necas went to a team where he could be more free-flowing and not so squared-pegged into RBAs "system"?

This isn’t that though. Theres a big difference between “ Rod’s system” and playing with two generational talents. Very great for Necas, he is set up to succeed and that’s awesome. Hopefully he sticks around there and gets paid big time.

Orlov had a bad game So no. Nothing at all.

Pyotr plays a lot better when he's facing a plethora of shots vs when he's only facing 15-ish. Goaltenders in general when they get into a rhythm will give up one or two but they'll get on a role if they're NHL-caliber. Plus, being challenged is good for his development.

Also the team that played LA/Peg/Sota isn't allowed to show up. We will citizens arrest them if they show up ever again.
