I was surprised at how cleanly he turned it over at the blue line on the Jarvis goal. There’s a mental component to that, regardless of skill level.
It really is a shame that these elite guys always go to the teams with the thinnest rosters of serious established leaders. It also doesn't help that they're appointed god-kings of their teams at 18 when they have no idea what they're doing, which gives a lot of them a 'what do you know, you're an old guy on a garbage team' attitude. A guy like Jarvis learning from Aho, Staal, and Burns is really in a much better situation.

Bedard has Taylor Hall of all people to learn from. I mean, yikes.

Genuinely curious, but are people still happy as RBA as coach? i have my opinion but just curious.

I haven't seen anything that I would pin on Rod. Obviously, the struggles on the road and the poor starts to the game are concerning in their frequency, but it's not like Rod can lace up and play for them. Ultimately, it's on the players to perform
