Get the next goal. Just chip away. Tighten things up. 40 minutes is a long time, even though down 3-0 after one period looks bad.

Canes don't look good, but honestly they shouldn't be down 3 after this period. The Devils played better but not nearly as much as the score would indicate. Freddie was ass in that period.

What gives me a tiny bit of hope in this game is the Canes still aren't having much trouble entering the Devil's zone.

Even though we won the first two games the situation facing us is still the same…we’re missing 3 of our 6 top forwards. No one should be naive enough to think that simple fact won’t affect us over a potential 7 game series.

I'd forgotten how much the shit ice at PNC is such a homefield advantage. Devils look like a much better team.
