The Bruins are actively trying to lose at this point. But there’s also no reason for the Canes to even pretend to care about this game.

Carolina/Hartford near the top of the league and Boston near the bottom is a pretty unique combination. 2006 is the only other year with such a spread.

Well, last game they had an issue trying to differentiate between teammates and opposing players. I can only assume it was due to similar looking jerseys. Against Boston, no such issue.

I know it’s impractical for road trips but it would be cool if they just wore the full on black getup when they play in Detroit

Also, these last few games have shown how critically important Jordan Staal is to this team. Even though KK should have, theoretically, fit in with that 3rd line fine, it's been noticably different without Staal. With Staal, that line would often keep the entire shift in the offensive zone with their forecheck. Without him, it's 3 players playing individually instead of as a unit. Martinook, in particular, has been bad for a while now

Any chance we will ever get 4K telecasts via Fanduel? I know this is the ultimate first world problem but I really enjoy watching the Bees and the Avs in 4K via DirecTV when available. The extra resolution really makes a substantial difference in hockey telecasts…

Sounds like Orlov is back in, Chatfield is out. Seems to be rest-related rather than any injury.
Should’ve waited to do the Chatfield rest game for Washington, just to watch the world explode.
