-5 / -6 is impressively bad. I'm glad Berube at least seperated them for a period. Still, our first line got schooled by their third line. Almost un-winnable under those circumstances.
Canes may have scored 10 if they had a couple of snipers like Matthews and Nylander.

Beat Isles x2, Bruins, and Flyers x2. Not exactly good teams.

I don't care what excuses people wanna give the leaders like Marner and Matthews, but this was unacceptable against another contender in their conference. It doesn't matter what they do on Saturday against Vancouver, they laid a huge egg here. Very typical of what they do in the playoffs.

16, 34 and 23 were a combined -17. Give Mitchy his f***ing money already.

Even Rielly was only a -3 tonight. Seriously how can you be -13 with our goaltending?

They aren't gonna win every game, but it is frustrating when they largely play well (they were better tonight than either Philly game) and get let down by the first line and shoddy goaltending.

-17!!

FML, that's hard to wrap my head around. Brutal. Not sure what else to say.

I'll focus on the positive. Let's see now, nobody got hurt, it was just one game, what else ... I had the game on but I wasn't watching much, if Matthews still looked healthy I guess that would be the biggest positive.

As good as the top line was on Saturday, it was terrible tonight.

It sucks losing any game when you have a 2-0 lead, but it really sucks to lose to a strong team after a few wins against lackluster opposition. It was a good test, and while the Leafs had a nice start this time, they ultimately failed.

Can't believe Matthews went -6. How often does a player have a plus/minus that bad, let alone a superstar player?

Biggest positive was Willie showing a pulse for his first few shifts. Went back to sleep after putting them up 2-0.
