3 of the goals happened after the Preds had opportunities that would have been goals more often than not. Hamilton pinch leads to Scissons off the post, Gardiner barely deflects the puck to Arvidsson and whatever the hell that was that allowed a Pred uncovered in the slot.

A bend-but-no-break game. Their PP has looked good to start the year. Once again, a few stupid penalties led to Nashville getting a ton of shots, and I still see a gaping defensive hole in the slot where Staal usually is, but it was made up for by Svech, Aho and Trocheck driving and finishing offensive plays. Hope Turbo's OK. Seems like he was on the bench but Brindy was holding his shifts just in case.

Liking Gardiner to start the season. He's keeping up with the play unlike the start of last year, and his offensive skills are shining as a result. Keep playing like this, and he becomes a luxury rather than a redundancy.
