Yeah but why even play him on the PP then? This early in the season if he’s so banged up he’s missing 5 on 5 and PK shifts then why not be safe and just keep him out? That’s a head scratcher...

I can tell you it's not number 3. Some of our players who have historically relied on speed look slow - Foegele, McGinn. Passing is just off, but that could have several causes.

Honestly I was willing to give Trocheck, Skjei and Gardiner chances but it says a lot when Brindy is slotting Trocheck below Martinook with Staal out, Skjei being constantly babysat, and Gardiner permanently on the 3rd pairing. Just some huge whiffs by the borg. It's ok to admit it.
