Most of the calls have made little sense for either side. It's literally almost as if the refs are being directed by a narrative. The NHL has a problem.

So the only reason the broken stick is on the ice is because Coleman broke it across Staal's shoulder.

Then right at the beginning of this clip, Goodrow bumps the broken stick in Dougie's general direction as he's making a pass.

That's a penalty, right? Or am I out to lunch?
