Galchenyuk has started undeveloping since CJ arrived
When your boss has no confidence in you it can have terrible results, esp when the new boss comes in and treats you worse than the old boss. I still like him, but his confidence looks pretty bad right now. We KNOW he can play better than he is.

Seeing Lindgren play well only fills me with despair after the contract we have given to Price.
Feels good that others are slowly starting to get on the same thought process as I was back when we re-signed Price. I love Price, but you don’t need a 10.5m goalie to win the Cup, imo. Other teams have had much cheaper and inferior goalies to Price win the cup because the money went to the team in front of the goalie.

It sucks that schlemko couldn't get any games in. This would have been some valuable practice time for him to find his groove with the new club.

I'm really liking Mete, Lekhonen, Byron, Shaw, Petry, Hudon...so many positive efforts tonight. Martinsen too, he looks good.

I'm still shaking my head over McCarron being bodied off the puck by a 5'10, 185 lb Vincent Trochek in the first. If McCarron played with the same kind of motor Trochek does, he'd never see the AHL again.

Galchenyuk....i don't know what to say. He is going to start the year on the 4th line.

This isn't kindergarten. The guys has been playing for what, 4 seasons now? Time he put some effort in and show he can go back on the first line.

Galchenyuk has played his way onto whatever position he currently plays in....he looks awful

No confidence with the puck, constant turnovers

clear to me the kid doesnt care anymore.

Cant blame him, just a few days after the coach said he'd try him again (and Drouin) and C during the season... the "bigger boss" made sure it won't happen by saying Chuck is not a C in the medias...
Of course we can blame him, he's playing like crap

Doesn’t look like he doesn’t care to me, like he’s frustrated.

Same for me, I was with you at the presser. You just can't make your goalie your number 1 player and to be successful I think you need all your talent to be good, not just a piece or two that are great. 5 years at 10.5 I could see or 8 years at 8.5-9 sure, but 10.5 till he is 40 is nuts to me. Sadly as good as he is, maybe top 3 in his generation. He is not a 'generational talent'. Elite for sure, but paid more than nearly everyone not named McJesus.
