Marc Bergevin held a press conference this week after the firing of goaltending coach Stephane Waite and appointing Sean Burke.
  • Carey Price shared his thoughts on the firing of Waite and hiring of Sean Burke, as well as Marco Marciano, who will be acting as goaltending coach until Burke can begin working with the Canadiens on March 19th.
  • Stephane Waite gave his insight into what has been happening with Price this season after he had been fired and one of his explanations aligns with something Rick said on last week's show.

  • Former Canadiens goaltending coach Stephane Waite continued his media tour, sharing some additional information. Shea Weber gives his thoughts on why Carey Price is having more success.
  • Interim head coach Dominique Ducharme unveiled a new second line this week, with Tyler Toffoli, Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Brendan Gallagher lining up together.
  • NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman expects a "fully normal" season for 2021-2022 that will start on time. He also expects fans to return in greater numbers towards the playoffs. The divisions will return to the standard alignment for next season. The NHL signed a seven-year broadcast and streaming agreement with ESPN.
  • The NHL paused the 2019-2020 season on March 12, 2020. A year later, we take a look back.

  • Canadiens assistant coach Alex Burrows had his first media availability this week. Last week we spoke to Isha and Dylan of the Hockey Podcast network about Alex Burrows, this week we hear from Burrows discussing finding out he was going to be an assistant coach of the Canadiens and some insight into the importance of Shea Weber on the Canadiens power play.
  • What's wrong with the Canadiens in extra time? The Habs are now 0-7 in overtime and the shootout. Last week we heard from Jeff Petry about the Canadiens defensive zone coverage in three-on-three overtime, this week the defenceman spoke about the possession plan in OT.

  • Habs prospect report - Cole Caufield has been named Big Ten Player of the Year. Caufield scored game tying and game winning goals in semi-finals, but his Badgers lost to the Golden Gophers in the Big Ten championship on Tuesday. Frozen Four Regional participants to be selected on Sunday. Jordan Harris considering joining the Canadiens now that his NCAA season is done. Ryan Poehling heating up for the Rocket.   • There have been new members of the Canadiens who have been key additions on the ice and as leaders, the guys react to comments from newcomers Corey Perry and Josh Anderson.
  • With Ben Chiarot out of the lineup, the Canadiens have been forced to reconfigure their defensive pairings. Rick and Joe discuss how the new look pairings have performed and react to a clip from Shea Weber discussing the adjustments of playing with a new partner. Could the Habs make a move for some help on the blueline?
  • Overtime losses continue to pile up for the Canadiens, with two more this week they are now 0-9 in extra time. The guys take a look at Dominique Ducharme's strategy for overtime and discuss slow starts.

  • Habs prospect report - Jordan Harris has chosen to return to Northeastern for his senior year. NCAA Regional tournaments began on Friday with Habs prospects participating: Cole Caufield, Jack Gorniak, Blake Biondi, Arvid Henrikson, Luke Tuch. Bemidji State upset Wisconsin 6-3 on Friday to end the tournament for Caufield and Gorniak and coach Tony Granato. Check out The Press Zone - Montreal.

  • NHL News - Referee Tim Peel will no longer work games now or in the future. NHL players moving from the United States to Canada will now be required to only quarantine for seven days, down from 14.
