OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG HOCKEY IS BACK!!!!!!! :handclap: :handclap: :handclap: :handclap: :handclap:

For some reason we're the road team, but whatever. No Drouin is a little disappointing since I'm impatient and wanted to see him play.

Chucky listed at C...sometimes I think this org is purposefully messing with this board.

... and yet another reason Quebec won't get an NHL team, and why 90% of the players didnt want to be there when they had one.

Have you seen the price for the tickets? Very high for a pre season game...

Exemple :

Section 209 (2nd floor) : 75$
Section 212 (2nd floor) : 91$
Section 101 (1st floor middle) : 147 - 185$

Preseason hockey. Full price to half of the value. Still fun to watch. Players to watch for me are Eric Gelinas, Brett Lernout. Nothing else of this roster has a story line.

Here's a storyline for you :

De La Rose and McCarron camp is critical for both players, imo.

Fair point on DLR as he has to clear waivers. McCarron either makes the team or gets sent down. I expect he will be a regular by December. I doubt DLR has a future in Montreal.

Dman....why would anyone go to this game at those prices and this lineup?

Tonight is actually a Bruins home game. Thy used to play one game in Providence to reward the AHL fans but the last 2 years they have seen dollar signs in Quebec City.

Tonight is a glorified Providence vs Laval game and they want too much money for it.

You might know this... or not...
But... Does that mean the Bruins are actually setting the price? Or are there more parties involved into this?

By the way, designing Montréal as "Poutineville" doesn't make much sense. The best traditionnal poutines are just usually not made in Montreal (and not in Quebec either).

Meh early preseason game that gives a bunch of young guys mostly some time in a Habs jersey, nothing more.

The Habs having Daniel Audette(RHC) the #1 player picked by Sherbrooke in 2012 QMJHL draft, speaks volumes to his perceived talent level.(Despite his physical stature.) It should be interesting to watch how this line plays, the speed, talent & feistiness of all three on this line, Byron - LW-(Speed of Light), Audette - Center -(Playmaking), + Shaw - RW -(Feisty net presence, Gallagher has competition for Habs #1 Feistiest Player!!!...:laugh::laugh:)

Quebec City the capital will have excitement watching this trio at work, Stars on Ice - Habs Style!!!...:handclap::handclap::handclap:(Players that play a 200 ft. game, not just in the offensive zone.)

Only exhibition, but shows the Habs have talent coming at center(Right Handed), to think that Audette was the Habs 2nd pick in the 5th round at 147th, says volumes to their scouting & development of prospects, IMHO!!!...:nod::nod:

Another highlight prospect for fans to watch is Brett Lernout(RHD), the Winnipeg born defenceman the Habs moved up to pick early in the 3rd round in 2014, 73rd OV. This hulking Dman has wheels & the physical stature to become a mainstay for the Habs on defence in the near future, IMHO!!!...

His listed partner being Joe Morrow(LHD)Pittsburgh 1st round pick (23rd OV) in 2011, played junior for Pittsburgh's coach in Portland, untapped potential in both these players, IMHO.
