Agreedhe has to be viewed as a “forward for Laval”, not Gurianov 2.0
He would be the heaviest forward on Laval’s team and like you said post-draft he got good comments about his board play and defensive efforts + good shot. Average IQ & puck skills, powerful stride but not a quick skater.
Laval could really use that kind of player (paired with Kidney for example).
ECHL bound hopefully
Correction; as a Swedish player that sucks in Habs land, a staple of the organisation really. He replaces Lindstrom as a Swedish player in the organization. Huge.
3 pages and counting for a minor league trade involving a nobody....Only in Montreal.
I mean, two third of it is people trying to be funny.
For Laval, yes. They are fighting for a playoff spot and have played very well since mid-December. They just lost multiple players to long term injuries and needed some help to keep going. So we're definitely adding at the trade deadline, that's what I'm getting out of all this
Wow, how could you say something like that about players like Andreas Dackell, Niklas Sundstrom and Douglas Murray?Correction; as a Swedish player that sucks in Habs land, a staple of the organisation really.

Maybe he asked for trade to have a chance to play in the AHL instead of the ECHL? He seems to be joining the Amerks.Don’t understand the Laouaan trade though, a local guy for an American in Three Rivers.
Good for Cerqvidst (sp?), need some forward depth
