Yea I thought that too.
But what do you do with 6-7 forwards that can't put the puck in the net?
Meaning....Kelly, Lucic, Eriksson, Gagne, Campbell, Paille, (and then 2 rookies Fraser/Griffith)
Whether we like it or not, the Bruins have been passed up.
I know the results tell a different story tonight but I agree Montreal are not that good and when healthy we can be significantly better than we were tonight.
Would LOVE to be a fly on the wall as Neely walks into PC office

Okay

Nobody is forced to watch a Bruins game but I know I am always hopeful we can turn things around and I want to be watching when they do.The way I look at it is if I want to take glory in the good times then I have to endure the painful ones.Start watching.I am a huge fan. I was at ground zero when game seven ended and my classroom walls are covered in my Bruins memorbilia. Every trip out here I attend and even fly out to Boston once a year for games.
That doesn't mean that I am forced to tune into a team that isn't exciting to watch, doesn't play a brand of hockey I enjoy anymore, seem disinterested in the game and don't enterain. The team has no identity or passion anymore so I'll tune back in when I won't be bored, disappointed or getting overly critical of players who aren't playing with that passion anymore.
You don't agree with Clode? Bruins were the best team in the first, all went downhill in the 2nd after that early turnover by Yeti that led to a PS goal by Wuss. The Habs got 3 straight PP after that to take momentum and their late period two quick goals on two Seidenberg mistakes sealed the game.
Bruins got like 1 scoring chance after the 1st period and didn't create much yesterday neither. The Kelly experiment has to end. Put him back on the 3rd line and if you don't want to cal Spooner/Koko, than shuffle the deck and go top-2 lines heavy with:
Lucic-Yeti-Loui
March-Bergy-Smith
The same Neely who spoke about the team "going a different direction" this season and signed off on Chiarelli's summer of BS?
We lost that game btw...
Don't overreact. Lucic can put the puck in the net. Loui too. The others just can't.
But the Bruins identity is defense. Without Chara and Krejci to have the puck in the OZ, it looks worse than it is.
They had a bad loss against the Leafs who looked good yesterday and tonight, played a team 100% healthy and fresh at home and they got the bounces.
Some say the Habs are a top team in the East. If that's true, than good news. They are not that good. I would rather play them than the Leafs for sure...
don't forget this former bruin #81
At least it was ** entertaining to watch **.
