Here's my predictions:

Goalies
Dubnyk
Shantz

This shouldn't change, lockout or no lockout.

Defensemen
If there isn't a lockout:

Barker-Phaneuf
Belle-Coburn
Green-Seabrook
Shultz

If there is:

Barker-Phaneuf
Burns-Coburn
Belle-Seabrook
Weber
(if Burns goes forward, Weber goes in for him, and Green goes 7th)

Forwards
If there isn't a lockout:

Stewart-Crosby-Dawes
Carter-Getzlaf-Perry
Ladd-Richards-Fehr
Dixon-Chipchura-Colliton
Bolland

If there is:

Stewart-Getzlaf-Horton(Crosby would normally go 1st line center, but 6'2" across the board is too awesome to pass up)
Carter-Crosby-Bergeron
Perry-Richards-Dawes
Ladd-Chipchura-Fehr
Colliton, Dixon
(if Burns is playing forward, he takes out Perry on line 3, who takes out Ladd on line 4, who takes out Dixon as a spare)

If there isn't a lockout Phaneuf and Coburn will both be in the NHL, guaranteed! Anthony Stewart and Ryan Getzlaf would be possibilities as well, with Stewart being the most likely. Then it comes down to NHL teams releasing players to play in the tournament, which is always a guessing game.

Goalies

If Horton, Burns, Bergeron are able to play... GREAT. However, I am not convinced about Brent Burns whatsoever. If he was cut, I would not be complaining. On the other hand, Horton and Bergeron would be amazing additions, especially Bergeron. How would a line of Bergeron-Crosby-Carter look? In all honesty though, I really don't think we will have either one of the three returning.

The defence core looks amazing and I wouldn't be surprised if Shantz took over the starting job. He really impressed in last years playoffs and if he picks up where he left off he can take over Dubnyk's spot. On the other hand, Dubnyk has the international experience required to be Canada's goaltender. They should play it by year in terms of goaltending.

And one more thing... If there is an NHL lockout, is Marc-Andre Fleury eligible to return? I am not sure what birthdate he is but alot of Canadian players eligible for this event were drafted in the same year. I understand that alot of people dislike Fleury because of his performance in last years tourney and I won't kid you, that was not exactly clutch. However, he didn't have a chance on O'Sullivan's first goal, that rifle to the top corner and well, I don't really want to talk about the rest. The point is, one tournament does not make a goalies career.

If there is an NHL lockout you have to understand that despite the fact that Canada will have Bergeron, Horton, Burns returning, other countries will reap the benefit as well. It's not like last year where Nash and possibly Kovalchuk would be returning, that would have been scary. If a lockout does in fact happen, you could see players like Zherdev, Ovechkin, Malkin playing for the Russians and I would not like that one bit.

I think that Fleury is a late 1984 birthdate, so he would not be eligible. Same with Zherdev.
