Man you are out to lunch..

Serbia will go home after 3 games, but Canada will for sure make it to at least the QFs?
Serbias starting XI are mostly playing pretty consistently, in decent to good clubs.

Lol.

Also, All concacaf teams don’t always make it out their groups.

Mexico is a decent team, once a very good team.

Are you really making fun of Germany? A team that dominated Brazil 7-1 in Brazil in 2014? Because they lost to a decent SK team?
The last 32 years, has seen Europe win 6 WCs. and CONMEBOL 2 - Remind me how many finals CONCACAF has ever been close too?

The last 4 WCs in a row, have been won by European teams - And except for 2014 have been all European teams in the final.
Actually, the top 4 was also dominated by Euro teams.

Shit happens at WCs. Upsets are not a huge indicator of anything - If you knew nothing about football, and just watched the scoreline from Brazil-Germany in 2014, you would think Brazil was a shit team. Not the case, just a mental breakdown, fueled by being nervous and overzealous.

Just like Canada may well progress from the group, still not world beaters if we do.

Now you're talking in circles
When did I say CONCACAF teams always get out of their groups ? I said almost all the time, if you look at the ratio of Concacaf teams (3 or 4) at least one, most of the times at least 2 make out of their groups (in 2014, 3 succedeed). That's a 50% ratio on average, pretty damn good if you ask. So for you believe that Concacaf is some sort of shitty confederation That are there by default and go home after 3 games is ignorant. History proves you otherwise.

As for Germany now you're playing dumb. You know exactly why I brought Germany nothing to do with 7-1 or Brazil but to just debunk your theory that Concacaf teams don't do anything at these events. Sure they don't make the finals or SFs but for some reason they always pull the upset at every World Cup, you gotta start wondering at some point if they are indeed 'upsets' or just they're being underestimated.

Yes we can reach QFs if we get a good group and pull some upset after.

And absolutely, Serbia will go home after 3 games and eat some cheese pie.

Some Canada fans starting to sound like those US fans that get all uppity about their team's position on the world stage. Let's take a different track as a fanbase. Let's be happy for what we've achieved and as for comparing to other teams, let's show that on the field when we get there. We can be confident and still be humble.

US fans think that Pulisic can reach Messi's level, I don't think anyone in Canada is that delusional yet. We're just happy, we're on the winning side for once and for me to say that I think Canada can give a hard time to any team except Brazil and France is just being confident. After all, I had doubts prior to these Qualifiers, was proven otherwise, saw every game and now I'm certain.

We also gotta also stop pretending that European teams are so intimidating, they're not. One goal and their plan is down the drain,

Acuses me of talking in circles, proceeds to do just that.

Just to finish this off, as I think you and I are far from each other opinion wise, I never said CONCACAF was shit, just one of the weaker feds.

Sure there are a few decent to (sometimes) good teams, but also alot of very weak teams.

And I sure as hell never said CONCACAF teams never make any noise, quite the contrary - And honestly don’t see the correlation between that, and saying Euro teams are overrated, which was your initial point with the Germany - South Korea game.

This all started with the overrating of Canada, and underrating of certain Euro teams - Not so much CONCACAF as a whole.

I find it laughable that you rate Canada higher than Serbia, and think we will easily reach a QF with favourable draws tbh - Which was your initial hot take. Favourable draws and upsets are a different thing, and could happen, but you made it sound like all of a sudden, now Canada are on par with tier 2 Euro teams, even lower tier 1 Euro teams, and that a QF was easily reached.

And your “one goal and their plan is down the drain” take is highly hyperbole and a weird generalization on a whole continent of teams (Very different teams I might add) based on nothing.

But, to each his own, eh?

If you don't have onesoccer then the only Sportsnet channel that has the game from the start is SN360.

Some changes to the starting lineup. Kone is getting his first start.
