Poor tactical changes by Costa Rica in the second half almost cost them. Great performance by the boys. No reason to think they will not get the three points on Sunday.

I mean they were the better team for the majority of the second half.... Tough first 10 minutes and then the red car and goal against were bad moments. Outside of that though they were in control.

Definitely a great effort in the second half though.

I feel for this team so much. I know Herdman and all of them wanted to get this done on the road and keep the undefeated streak alive. They deserved better but alas that is sports.

The clinching game was always going to be the most difficult. Lots going against Canada in the first half, including Costa Rica getting away with a lot of flagrant diving.

Canada did more than enough to tie it in the 2nd half, they just didn't have luck on their side tonight :/

It was a tough start. Took the boys a while to get into it, but I can’t express how impressive the fight and determination of the team was things turned sour, and luck appeared to be going the wrong way.

The table makes it a bit more palatable, it would really suck if we were desperate for these points, but I don’t think I could be more proud after a loss. Im sure Herdman is beaming abs patting them on the back too.

Costa Rica looked silly in the second half.

So maddening, Canada deserved the draw. On the bright side, they have clinched at least 4th and Costa Rica would have to win their last two games and make up an 11 goal difference in goal differential to knock Canada down to 4th

I didn't think the defending was tight enough in the first half... gave up way too many set pieces... Controlled the ball, didn't generate much. Second half was exactly what we have been watching since this all started, great push.

They need to come out fast on Sunday, put it away early and let Jamaica know they have no say in the result.
