It could be, but China made the decision to make the rinks NHL size

From watching the World feed of an earlier game apparently the rink is actually a little shorter than an NHL rink….196x85

I think the rink size was a IIHF decision. It voted to transition to NHL size ice for all championships a few years ago.

Canada is stronger and more physical. I expect
them to carry the play in the 3rd.
