The fact that it's an NHL-based tournament with NHL-based rules means that the potential for fighting is there and is a unique draw to this event.

Concerning. I guess Canada’s only hope would be if they had the two best centres in the world to match up against them, guys who do an elite job of maintaining puck possession to prevent such a thing from happening. Ah well.

The talent is just too elite to quantify in a single game. I think we will be spoiled with a great game.

I'm not criticizing the tourists, I'm saying the place is completely overwhelmed now to the point where to get there, you're forced to take a shuttle from Banff. I'll probably never go there again which sucks because I love it.

How is it outside the peak summer season? Never been there but need to make the journey at some point.

I used to have a goal to get to Moraine Lake and hike the trails there. Mostly to annoy my now ex who thinks of it as her special place.

It's a nightmare drive and tourist hell. I recommend go to Yoho and hike up to Yoho Lake which is gorgeous. Then hike down to Emerald Lake and stop when you see the tourists. Turn around and go back. Yoho is not as insanely busy!
