I'm USA guy but no way does USA have more grit. What the hell are people looking at? Grit wise I take Crosby, McDavid and MacKinnon over Eichel, Matthews & Miller.
Miller can match up p but not Eichel\Matthews.

Yeah people are just going overboard glazing the brothers and acting like the Canadian roster is a bunch of shrinking violets because of it....like a majority of the Canadian roster are key pieces to teams that went all the way and won a cup. You can not do that without grit lol

Canada doesn't have a Brady Tkachuk. I disagree on some your assessments of grit but the US overall just has a bit more mean & nasty to their game. Doesn't mean Canada will back down, like I said I'm just interested to see how they handle it.

I wouldn't categorize guys like Parayko and Toews as gritty at all. What an odd assessment. Canada does have guys that play a hard (er) game in the bottom half of their lineup so they aren't going to be taken advantage of physically, but I don't think the U.S. will either. Also, guys like Eichel and Matthews, while not what I would call "gritty", play a style that wears down opponents in the offensive zone. If the U.S. gets a cycle going with these guys, it's going to hard on the Canadian defenders.

Really doesn’t compare to Moraine once you get them side by side.

Possibly my favourite place in all of Canada. Anyone that's ever done the hike up to Sentinel Pass would agree with me. Sadly, a lot of other people think so too making it overwhelmed with tourists now and you're not even allowed to drive and park there anymore.

Concerning. I guess Canada’s only hope would be if they had the two best centres in the world to match up against them, guys who do an elite job of maintaining puck possession to prevent such a thing from happening. Ah well.

Sweden has dangerous forwards, great goaltending and maybe the best D in the tourney.

No one should be surprised in they go on a run either in such a short tourney.

I'm not criticizing the tourists, I'm saying the place is completely overwhelmed now to the point where to get there, you're forced to take a shuttle from Banff. I'll probably never go there again which sucks because I love it.

Those guys are gritty but not mean and nasty. Watching the first two games i don't think there's any doubt the US is the more physical team.
