Losing a preliminary game is whatever. I remember the 2020 team getting killed by Russia in the round robin.

The issue is that these guys have no intensity, no chemistry, and are either clinically Pejorative Slured or horrifically coached with how they play in their own end.

Canadas inability to hit the net or get shots off really stands out. Played way too fancy

All the buzz was that goaltending was Sweden's one big weakness.

Doesn't look that way with how he's playing.

Not sure he's had to do much... even the cross-ice shots have been directed at him.

But he's been perfect with what he's faced.

He isn't really getting test at all, but he can only make the saves that are there to be made and so far has been fine.

prospects at this level and on these teams should not be dusting off perfect passes that are meant to be one timed

Lmao what. It happens to everyone. McDavid, Makar, Matthews etc.

They are not robots. Humans make mistakes

I love that one bad year for Canada is always used as the example by rivals. We have done fine "cleaning" up with the most titles but sure pretend that having Connor Bedard who as a 17 year old that broke records now a year older wouldn't make a difference because one weak year we didn't win it all.
Every single year, the rest of the world gets to hear guys like you hypothesize about how Canada’s C team would win bronze. Then you tell us it’s a “fact” that you’d win this year w all your guys. In a one and done, it’s silly….

canada is always the favorite. Most of us acknowledge / concede that. But it’s not a God given fact.

And….whether you like it or not, the gap btw Canada and the States is closing.
