I am more along the lines of being hopeful fan. Canada and USA are only teams who can overpower us with skill. Sweden is about equal or bit lower than us as a team. We need one good game against USA/Canada to have a shot for gold.

We can talk about Blonqvist but coach decided to not take him. We should be happy with what we've got, he would've never got playing time anyway under this coach. Most teams are missing 3-5 of their best players and we are literally missing him from our best possible roster on this age group.

Weird comment, the Rocket Richard winners are too old for this tournament. People are allowed to complain about missing players and a small country is obviously more sensitive to it. Slovakia would've been significantly better with Slafkovsky and Nemec.

The Canadian forecheck honestly needs to get even more aggressive.

I preach it all the time how important a fast and physical wave after wave forecheck is at the U-20 level on NA sized ice.

Physical and psychological intimidation is a part of the game, and especially at the junior level. It’s not just big hits, but also hard on every puck battle to create turnovers. Time and space need to be taken away to the point where it seems suffocating every time a D man goes back to retrieve the puck.
