It’s odd that the coach thought they had a better chance against Canada with LankinenHe wasn't very good in his first game, but Lankinen did nothing to inspire any kind of confidence that he should get this game.
The win the other day had nothing to do with him whatsoever.
Honestly, EVERY goal on Lankinen in this game has been poor. The rebound on the last goal stunk.
And I would say at least 2 of the 3 goals he allowed against Sweden were HORRIBLE. Gustavsson and Ullmark somehow combined for weaker goals. The quality of goals in that entire game were just so weak.
They're already throwing in the towel on this game by not making a goalie change.
Saros has looked pretty good so far in relief, could be 2-0 instead of 4
