Disapointing first from Czech side.

We had 3 PP (2 were clean and 1 was a bad call) and ended the period tied with Canada getting zero PP time.

Driedger played awesome. Best player so far.

I thought Canada, as expected, looked better at 5 on 5. Their PK was great too!

Happy with score and we're not down but that goal against was some clownwork from Czech side... happy for Cozens though.. great player to watch!

Canada needs to stay our of the box and build 5 on 5 momentum shift by shift.
Czechs need to improve the 5 on 5 and hold on. They had a LOT of great chances and didn't bury them... could come back to haunt them!

IIHF doesn’t really do game management, for better or worse.

On the plus side, they will call terrible penalties on either side which means playing more with the puck than the other team.

Go to any game day thread for a playoff game in the NHL this week... all complaining about refs.

I like your approach... the refs always suck and deal with it.

Without taking penalties... Canada just needs to keep bumping them.

They aren't elite at passing and they are not elite at defending. Kris Russel's! Push them around and watch a puck pop out because they will make mistakes.
