That's fair.We are the Yankees of international hockey. If you aren't a fan, you hate them.

I saw it with my own eyeballsWhat is your source for that information?
Gord Miller before the tourney began on Twitter.Got a link for the bolded? Haven't seen that anywhere at all from any media outlet.
I disagree. The US was the better team yesterday.
I saw it with my own eyeballs
Joshua Roy and Tyson Hinds are going to win this game for Canada OR David Spacek will win it for Czechia.
Any other result is impossible.
Is he playing in Sherbrooke? Never heard of him if he isn't.Perhaps you've heard of this Bedard kid? My money is on him. Kid thrives in big games so far.
Why not the other David?Joshua Roy and Tyson Hinds are going to win this game for Canada OR David Spacek will win it for Czechia.
Any other result is impossible.
He is not known for rising from his ashes like the other threeWhy not the other David?
Goaltender is part of the team, lord knows we've been on the other side often enough times.Canada didn't really generate a lot of good chances compared to the US, their defence had been letting other teams skate through them all tournament. The game came down to goaltending.
Entire team and coaching staff was there, around noon ishDo you mind sharing more details?
Where did they get in and for how long? How many kids, and what time of morning?
Cold water immersion is a very potent method for improving focus and energy. I'm curious if this will work or backfire for the Czechs. It does sound super weird to try it now, have the Czechs been doing this all tournament?
I've been hard on him, too, but, to his credit, he's played a strong 200 foot game - playing to his strength.Shane Wright has to finally do something tonight...right?
I thought he's played all right the last few games.I've been hard on him, too, but, to his credit, he's played a strong 200 foot game - playing to his strength.
The old Malcolm Gladwell argument that just never seems to hold true. Connor Bedard? The actual best player on the team? June. Every single player in the top 10 scorers in the OHL? Zero born in January of February. Zero.It being both Shane Wright and Brennan Othmann's birthday today brings up an innocuous but crazy stat that shows just how much impact birthdate has on hockey success:
10 of the 23 players on the Canadian roster are born in January or February. 4 of those are born in the first week. It is good to be the oldest player on your team at a given age - leads to more opportunities and a disproportionate number of these player move on to higher levels.
best of luckWe'll need to weather the Canadian storm in the first few minutes. If we survive that, we have a chance. Before the tournament started we managed to beat Canada twice in 30+ years. If our boys can do it twice in one tournament they'll go down as legends. Česi do toho!
Goaltender is part of the team, lord knows we've been on the other side often enough times.
But when a goalie beats us....................it's all well and good and no one seems think the team that beat us was anything other then the better team.
Strange how it works,
Ok KarenI have been so embarrassed by Canadian fan behaviour during this tournament. Low key hoping for another Boxing Day massacre to remind people, especially in the 14-30 age group, that humility is a virtue.
The U.S and Finland have beaten us with superior goaltending plenty of times in the past, Our goalies didn't match up..When did a goalie beat Canada?
