I saw it with my own eyeballs

Do you mind sharing more details?

Where did they get in and for how long? How many kids, and what time of morning?

Cold water immersion is a very potent method for improving focus and energy. I'm curious if this will work or backfire for the Czechs. It does sound super weird to try it now, have the Czechs been doing this all tournament?

Canada didn't really generate a lot of good chances compared to the US, their defence had been letting other teams skate through them all tournament. The game came down to goaltending.
Goaltender is part of the team, lord knows we've been on the other side often enough times.

But when a goalie beats us....................it's all well and good and no one seems think the team that beat us was anything other then the better team.

Strange how it works,

It being both Shane Wright and Brennan Othmann's birthday today brings up an innocuous but crazy stat that shows just how much impact birthdate has on hockey success:

10 of the 23 players on the Canadian roster are born in January or February. 4 of those are born in the first week. It is good to be the oldest player on your team at a given age - leads to more opportunities and a disproportionate number of these player move on to higher levels.

The old Malcolm Gladwell argument that just never seems to hold true. Connor Bedard? The actual best player on the team? June. Every single player in the top 10 scorers in the OHL? Zero born in January of February. Zero.
