Canada's 8 year run at the WC has been VERY impressive. Always on foreign land, always a rag tag bunch of players thrown together at the last minute and we have 4 Gold, 3 Silver and one 4th(?).

His participation and the interviews, even how he played, were refreshing. I was amused by his comment that people didn't razz him on the team because they're probably afraid of him.
Nice also to see Toffoli get a gold! I really liked him for Montreal. Enjoyable stuff.
Overall, Finland doing bad this year didnt feel as bad as it could've felt before. Latvia and Germany punching above their weight and quite entertaining hockey made up for it. And ofc also Canada was very nice to watch tactically.

It is funny, I fully expected them to win before the game, but after seeing the first 40 minutes of the game, I feel numb and dissapointed for the DEB-team.

Your team played some damn good hockey here, I mean taking out two teams that were going on all cylinders and beating them back to back, even coming back from down 2 goals..........impressive.

I never played myself but I have friends (of both genders) who say there are few things better than sitting in a hockey locker room, after a win, and celebrating.

Yeah i think talking shit is not very cool in general. For me its just that i can kinda understand when people who lose get angry, but when they win it and keep yapping it just comes off super arrogant and vain.

What can I say? it's not just that they get angry when they lose, they are there needling our team in games their team isn't involved in. every year every tournament,every game.
Expect retaliation.................human nature.

Yes there were 6 canadians on the ice before the goal.
The refs did not see it, there was no challenge and thats it.

Blown calls happen. But the 6th man didn't really affect the play.

2015 and 2016 were definitely not rag tag players. Heck even 2017 and 2018 had elite talent on the roster.
