Not much to report from Europe but I thought it was interesting that Sigur started in a double pivot for Split. His partner? Ivan Rakitic. They drew against Istra 1961 and lead the league.

Watched Nice and Lille from yesterday. Two teams that play very open, Nice tied it in extra time of extra time for a thrilling 2-2 final.

Bomb and David went head to head, good battle. Both came out unscathed and we will see them in Suriname this weekend.

Davies is out. Replaced by Adekugbe.

Have to think Laryea might start at LB, Adekugbe to provide cover. Sam is not capable of playing 90 anymore.

Going to miss the left side of our defense... that is not ideal. Defensively, having Laryea next to Waterman (if that is the choice) is actually not a bad thing. Davies tends to get far up... Corn can handle that but Waterman is going to struggle in space. Obviously we miss Davies getting forward.. Millar combines best with Phonsie... and he's out too, lol.

Adekugbe can come on for a touch more offense if we are struggling against the low block (assuming Suriname do that)

So... boys are going to have to step up.
