The way the CHL playoffs have been trending it appears that Canada is going to be missing most of their top prospects as per usual.
The following will more than likely be unavailable:

Gavin McKenna
Matthew Schaefer
Michael Misa
Caleb Desnoyers
Jake O'Brien
Jack Nesbitt
Ben Kindel
Braeden Cootes
Cameron Reid
Cole Reschny
Luca Romano
Emil Guite
Tyler Hopkins
Liam Kilfoil
Alex Huang
Keaton Verhoeff
Landon Dupont

The leftovers that will probably be available are:

Ryan Roobroeck - Brady Martin - Cameron Schmidt
Nathan Behm - Ethan Czata - Nathan Quinn
Zachary Morin - Matthew Gard - Shamar Moses
Jett Lajoie - H. Paupanekis - J. Lombardi
Mateo Nobert

Jackson Smith - Peyton Kettles
Will Sharp - Q. Beauchesne
Will Reynolds - Reese Hamilton
Carson Cameron

Joshua Ravensbergen
Jack Ivankovic
Burke Hood

Should still be a decent team but no game-breakers like Canada had last year.

Hockey Canada might not take Schaefer and McKenna as they "graduated", when they played for the U20 team.
