I can't say I'm a fan of the forward cuts, but really that might just be because I don't know much about some of the forwards who did make it.

I'd go with this:

Steenbergen - Steel - Kyrou
Katchouk - Thomas - Raddysh
Dube - McLeod - Batherson
Formenton - Howden - Comtois
Gadjovich

Mete - Fabbro
Clague - Timmins
Bean - Foote
Makar

That should still be one of the best lineups.

I'd switch Katchouk with Dube but outside of that, I like that roster. Gadjovich could squeeze up too.

Glad Comtois made it. He took two stupid penalties which I didn't like but I like his game.

Well, you have your stance and its here for all to see.

If TC does do well ( or at least score at a good clip) I hope you continue to post and admit jumping the gun.
If they don't, you can always gloat on here.

Ive been a big fan of Thomas from his minor midget days and as a LK season tic holder. I think he will step up as TC best overall C providing O and being a 200ft player.

3rd best team in their Pool in my opinion... Finland is the favourite, always have been, USA and Canada should be about equal but I’m going to give the edge to the USA right now.

Finland is far from the favorite to win the pool. Their depth down the middle is awful.

I certainly won't be gloating because I will be pissed that they lost. I won't take any pleasure out of the team doing poorly.

I think I can see what they are going for at least. Mobile defence and forwards with clearly defined roles. The forward group somewhat reminds me of some of Canada's forward groups in the last decade. Clear scorers, and also some guys that are clearly going to be role players (Gadjovich, Formenton, Comtois). I'm not thrilled about some of the decisions like picking Point and Foote and cutting both Suzuki and Glass, but the team is set now. Time to support the team and focus on the guys who are there. I like the mobility of the defence and there is some versatility up front. Hart looks like the best goaltender Canada has had in a decade. If the players can pressure the opposition with skating then I think the team will be pretty successful.
