You're right. I find the NHL jerseys have made a seamless transition to Fanatics due to the same company manufacturing them all these years (thankfully). I hope that never changes.Fanatics having a monopoly on the sports jersey market in North America is absolutely a joke, but they dont manufacture the actual jerseys, not the real ones anyway. They are still made by the same company that has made NHL jerseys for CCM, Reebok and Adidas since the 80s. I’m also pretty sure the Fanatic premium are made in the same factory that made adidas jerseys. The breakaway jerseys are the joke.
I got a fanatics Canucks jersey that was blank for $30 off sportscheck sales. Then in blackfriday i got the classic black Canucks skate jersey for $130 CDN. People should probably search around and they can eventually buy one for way cheaper. Fake ones for hockey is not good due to cheap quality. I have a fanatics and adidas ones and both are great quality. Dont buy fake ones for $50 because it probably wont last much.
Definetly can tell it’s fake. That bubbly crest and numbers are dead give aways, make them look like they been on the bottom of a closet. The real ones use stuff twill and bend not crumple up like this. The striping is wrong and on originals the stripping was sublimated and not additional fabric sewn on. I’m willing to bet the fight strap is a small square. We ordered Orioles Jerseys for our ball team like 12 years ago, they all came in kids sizes. We had to re-order them and then we all gave our kids jersey to children around the ball park
They looked pretty decent though all things considered.
I have one hockey jersey which is a Ray Bourque late 80's style Bruins jersey that looks pretty damn good. You can tell it's a fake, but it's not glaring. It was like $40 so f*** it.

A friend of mine ordered a bunch of Jagr jerseys from different teams and half of them came in the completely wrong color scheme. The Capitals jersey was in Orange and White like the Flames, haha.
And even in the mlb case fanatic was only producing them to Nikes spec. Nike did the designs. You're right. I find the NHL jerseys have made a seamless transition to Fanatics due to the same company manufacturing them all these years (thankfully). I hope that never changes.
I was worried because Fanatics completely destroyed MLB's uniforms. And their regular wear has always been subpar.
People can usually tell it's a knock off
I wear a lot of knock-off jerseys very regularly and average people are surprised when I tell them they're knockoffs. I've had some stitching touched up on a couple of them, but for the most part they're all decent qualityThe kind of people who frequent this website can tell, for sure. The general public? I doubt it.
