Some rough edges to this one, but the Wild are a tough out, even with some key guys missing from their lineup. Boys didn't quit, and gutted it out, quite impressive, as this crazy road trip is showing signs of taking it's toll, but the boys are hanging in there. Pickard with a really good game, solidifying his status as one of the best backups in the league.

With that win the Oilers now have a 28-13-3 record after Game 44 and are guaranteed to have the same number of points they did after Game 45 last year (end of 16-game winning streak) where they were 29-15-1. A win tomorrow would obviously put them ahead of the 2023-24 pace.

They had to go at least 11-4-1 this season to match the 16-0 pace and they surpassed it.
