Haha the crowd is shouting "na na hey hey goodbye". Thornton with an own goal, evening the odds.
 
Canada committing a lot of good teammate/good neighbour gaffes this period. A little more killer instinct will be needed going forward.

That's on the u23 team which Kane isn't on. And it is pretty crazy. Matthews and Eichel in the fullness of time would be on team Canada if they were Canadian. Not his go round but in 4 years they'd be there.

Schneider turned pro at 22 and backed up Luongo for 3 years when he easily could have been starting. Fascinating is pretending like any of that has to do with who the better goalie is today.

He's touting "Best save percentage of all-time", hence the listing of some guys who have, you know, played many more games than Schneider. Doesn't mean he isn't a good goalie, but it is pretty early in a guys career to be hanging your hat on that stat. If all of you are going to get on Kings fans for bringing up titles and MVP trophies, then what do you expect with this save percentage nonsense?

The better goalie over an entire season may be Schneider. Not arguing it. The better goalie over the last two weeks is Quick. These games aren't being played over the course of an 82 game season with a bunch of Tuesday night games in Newark that nobody but Devils fans are watching: it's the bright lights.

Schneider had a chance in the semi-bright lights last week and blew it. Tough **** like that happens in tournaments. The guy isn't getting the start after giving up six goals in only two periods.

If he played as amazing as he is being hyped in this thread last week, then maybe he is starting or there is at least a valid argument for him to have played tonight if he still didn't get the start. He didn't though so now we have this argument that Schneider would of been amazing tonight which, you know, can't be argued against since it is impossible to prove or disprove.

You seem to be changing your argument..

So now you don't want your team to get better? I'm sure the GM disagrees. And would take several Americans.
