I think we're already seeing the struggle this year.... He's still doing point per game... But... That's 3 more years of 80+ points... Ugh, it'll be damn close

- Relied on too much to literally carry play on L1 against top lines/D pairs for all 82. That wears on you.
- Couple that with linemates who don't particularly light the world on fire.
- +++ He doesn't go "Goal Scoring Sid" nearly enough.

Lack of assists, lack of his own production, and on a club that's clearly headed in the wrong direction. Looks super unlikely. Small adjustment like sticking Geno on his line - as should have been done 3 years ago - perhaps. Get them yet another finisher.... hell, maybe. Have two lines to actually share the load through the season? Why not.

I think it will depend on linemates. With Rust and Rakell, probably not. If we sign Marner, draft Misa/McKenna, or he gets traded to Colorado and centers Mac...maybe.

Yes, I think it obviously boils down to health and longevity? Will he play 5 more seasons? With Sid you just never know. But I think if he does, a 53.6 point average is a breeze.
