He isn't blowing guys up on the forecheck but I wouldn't say he is soft and avoids contact either. I am a fan.

He seems like a legitimate top 6 forward with the right linemates. He has gotten the job done when given the opportunity.

He is a perfect utility player. He is strong defensively if we want to play him in the bottom 6. He can keep up offensively if we want to use him in the top 6. He can play on your second PP or PK.

He brings us the type of game Kerfoot was supposed to and does it better at just over half the price.

Kerfoot is definitely a better distributor and definitely much better last season, but how many times have you thought ‘he would score that if he could shoot harder than an 11 year old’? He’s been here four years and to me it’s at least 30.

Calle has a blast and isn’t afraid to use it, and has quicker hands in tight as well.

He's been great, plays hard and has a really good shot. Not overly physical, but not scared to get in there and get the puck.

He's been much better with talent around him in the top 6 LW role rather then the 3rd line imo.

I'm usually very critical of Dubas, but it was a great signing.

He disappears at times but he’s on track for a career year with only PP2 duty. Always moving his feet, not overtly physical but will go in dirty areas (noticed he’s not great at board battles but jams things up long enough for someone else to come in and help) Great shot, wish he’d shoot more from that face off area. Seems like a smart 2way winger. Like him as a middle six winger.
