This is Year 2.

They need to buy Lehner out this summer. We can't do this for three more years.

It would shake out as a$389k against cap next year, $889K the following year, $2.389M in 2024-2025, then 1.889K in each of the three years after his contract would have ended. This would enable the team to better manage cap when it most needs it.

We know that won't ever happen. Besides you know if he actually gets healthy and the Knights have a set of defenders which don't change every night due to injuries that he can go on a nice run and make his trade value decent enough to not have to give up the farm to move him. What will be interesting is what can they do with Brossoit to allow LT to be #1 or at least #1B
