Doughty was in a giving spirit tonight. Such awful play from him in the 3rd and OT. Way to let off on the gas pedal Kings, and a nice way to wrap things before the Christmas break. Ugh, so disgusted with this team tonight.

this game is on Quick. He stands up for 2 of the "goals" and they win 3 - 1, without even thinking about it.
 
I'm at a loss for words. I'm not the type to overreact to anything but wow. Giving up a 3-0 lead, at home, to a team that's below you in the standings, is absolutely disgraceful. Remember when we used to lead going into the 3rd period and teams would never beat us? I don't even know what else to say to that. Two goals in less than 2 minutes left in the game, that was embarrassing.

Shouldn't give up points to ANY team. Remember when the Kings were essentially undefeated after two periods when leading?
 
I may be overreacting a little, considering we're still holding a playoff spot but wow that was bad. I would love to hear what Sutter has to say to players after that

That's the difference on our defense this year. Loss of Mitchell and VOynov kills us along with injuries and shuffling. Much of that was Doughtys fault but he's not playing 2/3 of every game if the rest of our D is stable.

Regardless that's a team failure. Like the 2013 games control much of the game but lose focus on a few plays and that's it.
 
I don't remember the last time I was this upset about a game in December by the LA Kings.

I agree DD is playing too much! When you're actually at the game, you can tell when he's gassed, and yet he's still out there! It hard to manage all these situations where they put him back out there, but he's not necessarily ready to go back out all the time! Thus, sometimes his first 30 seconds of a shift are no different than some other D getting caught in a long one minute shift, and how they might play in their final 30 seconds! He needs to play about 24 minutes at least, but when it starts pushing 30, we are in trouble! Tonight, 32 minutes! I don't even blame him when it starts to get like this! And to play 32 minutes in a game we are winning 3-0? That's crazy! That's inviting a team that has to scramble and put tremendous pressure on D right back into the game! You would have thought we were losing 3-0, and hell, there's nothing to lose!!! Play him 45 minutes to catch up!
 
Look how wide open johnny hockey was when he got the pass? He skate through 4 Kings and all Muzzin saw was his vapor trail!
