Insane to write this when it’s already happened lmfaoHis chances of being an impact defencemen are almost zero.

Extremely embarrassing post, cope and seetheLess than a minute left, Montreal down by 2, Hutson has the puck on his stick and then...
Duhaime is going the OTHER way. Game over. Hutson is a -2 in the biggest game of the year.

Yah we know you're gonna cope all yearbwhile he finishes top 3 for the Calder and the Habs improve further. Just like you did all year with Hutson !
wow that's amazing news. 20 year old rookie dman didn't dominate in his first playoff games Players don't usually getting better after 20 years old do they?Hutson looked awesome in the playoffs, oh wait, he got completely caved, like we all said he would, an undersized defensemen that doesn't play defense, didn't play defense and when the checking got tight, it got even worse.
wow that's amazing news. 20 year old rookie dman didn't dominate in his first playoff games.....wow he must be useless.
Were people not saying the same about celebrini before the season?Claiming anyone is likely winning anything next year is certainly a take.
I guess you are right. Players cant develop an improve after 20 y/oHis same deficiencies just showed up even worse, like they do for 99% of undersized dmen. Also, he's completely lost in his own end, how can he fix that? Gain 45 pounds and grow 6 inches and learn to play defense suddenly, when he plays like a 4th forward? We've seen the same thing before with guys like Ghost, which is a good comparable for him, even though he can't shoot like Ghost.
He was point per game and helped set up some big goals.Hutson looked awesome in the playoffs, oh wait, he got completely caved, like we all said he would, an undersized defensemen that doesn't play defense, didn't play defense and when the checking got tight, it got even worse.

That's why he's in the NHL, to contribute offensively.
don't bother , he doesn't get it.He was point per game and helped set up some big goals.
That's why he's in the NHL, to contribute offensively.
Man with how harsh you are with Hutson I hope you keep that same energy with Michkov. And blew a game, and looked horrific in his own end lol. I don't get what you're saying, I never denied he's not gifted offensively. Wouldn't want him on my team in a big game though. I'm sure he'll compile solid numbers on the PP for many years, thats to be expected, not much else.
61% on ice xGF% at 5 on 5 and point per game, "caved" lmao. You prove yet again to have no idea what you're talking about.Hutson looked awesome in the playoffs, oh wait, he got completely caved, like we all said he would, an undersized defensemen that doesn't play defense, didn't play defense and when the checking got tight, it got even worse.
How do you not see the contradiction in your post? Were people not saying the same about celebrini before the season?
Demidov is a future superstar & already has a full pro season under his belt. Very reasonable take to assume he's the front runner
Who do you see challenging him?
Lol ok pretend I said "likely winner". Celebrini was also viewed as "likely winner" at the beginning & I don't think anyone here would argue that was a bad take. How do you not see the contradiction in your post?
Being a front-runner is not the same as being the “likely winner”.
Not many forwards, but Nikishin and Buium could IMOLol ok pretend I said "likely winner". Celebrini was also viewed as "likely winner" at the beginning & I don't think anyone here would argue that was a bad take.
who do you see challenging him next year? I'm still wondering.
Both great players but being defencemen, they will need Lane Hutson like seasons to beat out a budding superstar forward like demidov. Not many forwards, but Nikishin and Buium could IMO
I mean it could be a lot of different guys, some were not even thinking. Schaefer could come in and blow everyone's tits off. I still think Leonard is one of the front runners. Parekh looked good in his limited run at the end of the season. Wallstedt or Askarov could vastly exceed expectations if they run with the job. Perhaps one of the rookie defensemen will have an historical record breaking yearI mean it could be a lot of different guys, some were not even thinking. I think it'll be a big year for d-men.
Yikes. Weird takeHutson looked awesome in the playoffs, oh wait, he got completely caved, like we all said he would, an undersized defensemen that doesn't play defense, didn't play defense and when the checking got tight, it got even worse.

I'm pretty sure he will.I'd be willing to bet Schaefer will play better defense right away.
Don't stoop to his level, Michkov is a great player. Hutson is just better at this point in time. The 4 haters in this thread are from:
Flyers(HeadLicehatty): mad since Michkov became like a 2nd liner who's a pp specialist.
Ottawa(Oscar the Grouch) : His team can only draft some bust like Tyler Boucher and Yarkemchuk.
Toronto(Drew4u and Orr): mad since 1967.
Hutson is going to get some Norris vote this year.
