Calder Watch : 2024-25 Season

People people people HEAR THIS

It's not just the assist record he'll probably break. He now has 37 ES points. I know, i know, he's just a powerplay specialist and secondary assist merchant, but he's just 3 ES points away from Murphy's other record.

He might break TWO records ffs

How about that, headlice?
There's tons of records he's closing in on.
  1. Multi-assist game record is 16 in the NHL by a rookie defenseman (Chelios). Lane is at 15.
  2. Assists by a rookie D which is 60 (Murphy). Lane is at 57.
  3. Most points by a rookie Canadiens D is 64 by Chelios. Lane is at 62.
  4. The ES record you mentioned.
Plus, I believe he already has the most assists by a rookie D in Montreal history.

And the whole secondary assists...what a stupid point to prove...if those are so easy to get...how the heck aren't there more players having them? Geez, Hutson 3rd assist would have often be more important than some 1st ones...lol.

So there are secondary assists more crucial to the play than others. Just like there's primary assist too.....Hutson secondary on Anderson cannot be compared to his secondary in OT.....First he keeps the play going on ihs off side under pressure. While on OT.....he...touches the puck...lol.

He's 9th in all the NHL D in primary assists. They intentionally forget about that

This kid is something else. In the same conversation as Hughes and Makar in the "fun to watch" factor with the way he walks the blue line. Him and Guhle are a perfect ying to each other's yang. Will be interesting to see how Reinbacher and Mailloux fit into the equation as well.

Bravo Habs. Rebuild is looking prosperous. f*** you though still. f*** you big time.

I wish for nothing more than more Bruins-Habs playoffs series in the coming years, we've been starved for too long.

But also, f*** you too.
